Rhomberg Rail Australia’s Structures team have had the great opportunity having being completely trained in timber splice repair solutions for ARTC using the Quakewrap Pilemedic FRP system. This method replaces the conventional 4 steel plate design which is prone to shearing during flooding. This solution will fuse the new pile top onto the old bottom pile creating a flexible and strong new pile. Rhomberg Rail have been trained on proper installation of QuakeWrap Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) PileMedic Systems and is hereby acknowledged as a QuakeWrap Australia Certified Installer of this product.
